This poignant story follows the struggles of a couple who faced homelessness and reclamation of their boarded up homestead. Delightfully played by Kip Sundlee and Claudia Bursch, the couple discover a new humanity through their trials and triumphs. Joining the cast are Joan Piotrowski and Jamie Sandberg who also perform the sound effects. Bob Piotrowski is arranging and performing the music. The show is directed by Ann C. Hermes. Friday, Sept. 20 7:00 p.m: Courting Bertha: The Story of Bertha and Potter Palmer. This true love story set to the backdrop of The Great Chicago Fire captured the attention of Chicago writer Amelia Dellos who turned it into a documentary. It played on the Chicago PBS television station to great acclaim. Ms. Dellos has adapted the story to radio theater. Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, you are about to witness a person who flies with the birds. Meet the Human Cannonball. Since 1877 at the Royal Aquarium in London when Zazel, a fourteen year old girl became the first human cannonball, people have gathered at circuses around the world to watch others take this mind-blowing flight.

Be on hand fora human cannonball on our stage, Aug. 9 at 7:00 p.m. Alexandria playwright Bob Sievers wrote and directed tonight’s production of the drama Cannonball Cipelli. It stars Keri Mohror, Benjamin Roers, Gary Lund, and Mike Roers. Hillary Ninman performs the sound effect with Bob Piotrowski on the keyboard.

For years the legend of Syndrome Johnny was believed to be true. Could one man purposely create plagues, killing millions of people in order to produce a super human race? Each of the last 3 plagues has killed but also strengthened the survivors. In keeping with the timing of the other plagues, it is historically time for another fatal plague.
