In the 1950s, radio was the primal source of entertainment. Every night families would sit and listen to the story that was playing that night. Captivated and intrigued, they would listen to the words create the story inside their imaginations. This creativity and old time love is exactly what Mike Roers of Alexandria wanted to bring back when he created Lakes Area Theatre in 2010.
